You can often draw down additional funding from your credit line even if you haven’t yet paid off your full balance.
When am I eligible for a top up?
Typically you can only apply for a top up if your current balance is under two thirds of your credit limit. For example, if your credit limit is £30,000 then we'd need to see your balance fall below £20,000 before you can apply.
When you apply for a top up, we would then do a quick assessment of your business to check there's not been a significant change in circumstances since you were initially approved. This usually only take a couple of hours but we may need to see some updated business documents such as your recent bank statements.
How do I apply for a top up?
Log into your account and click on ‘Top up my loan’ tab on the ‘Overview’ page.
Select the amount by moving the slider or typing in an amount. You will then be able to view your new repayment schedule.

What happens next?
Once you request a top up, we’ll contact you to let you know if we need any further documents. Once we’ve got everything we need, we’ll usually give you a decision within a few hours. If you need the funds urgently, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to help.
