How iwocaPay works with WooCommerce

Once you've installed and activated the plugin it'll add iwocaPay as another payment option in your checkout and your payments will automatically reconcile with the rest of your store data.

It means you can add a new payment option to your checkout in a few clicks and choose to show just Buy Now Pay Later and, if you like, add a free Pay Now option powered by instant bank-to-bank transfers to your checkout too - for free without any extra work.

Connecting your iwocaPay account to your WooCommerce store

There are two steps to connecting iwocaPay to WooCommerce:

Step 1. Getting your iwocaPay API key

  • Head to the Integrations page of your iwocaPay dashboard and search WooCommerce.

  • Hit Install plugin - this'll send our team a request to get in touch with you about the plugin to make sure we can help with any questions.

  • Sign and return the agreement - we need you to sign our terms before you get access. We'll send you the agreement over email, just reply with the signed copy.

Once that's signed your account manager will send your API key and Seller ID to use in the next step.

Step 2. Adding iwocaPay to your WooCommerce store

  • Login to your Wordpress account and click Plugins on the left panel then Add New.

  • Type iwocaPay in the search bar to find it then click Install Now.

  • Once it’s installed click Activate to make it available to configure in your settings.

  • Now iwocaPay should appear in the Settings area of your WooCommerce store under Payments.

  • Click Finish Set Up then tick the Enable box.

  • Select which payment options you’d like to show (Pay Later and Pay Now or just Pay Later).

  • Enter the API key we sent you and your Seller ID in the input fields and hit Save Changes.

Here's a video to show you how it'll look:

And that's it! Your store checkout will now have iwocaPay as a payment option.

Configuring your iwocaPay payment options

You can choose what iwocaPay payment options to show your customers: just Pay Later or Pay Later and Pay Now.

Pay Now is always free for you and your customers (unlike cards) - it doesn't need any other steps to set up.

Control which payment options you show from your Wordpress dashboard

  • Head to your WordPress dashboard and then WooCommerce Settings

  • Click the Payments tab and iwocaPay from the list of payment options

  • Hit the Payment modes dropdown and choose the option you'd like

If you ever want to change it, just do the same and it'll automatically update.

Choose your fee structure when your customers use Pay Later

With iwocaPay you decide who foots the bill when your customers use Pay Later - you can find out how Pay Later pricing works here.

Your pricing set up is controlled by your Universal Pay Link

  • Head to the Pay Links page of your iwocaPay dashboard

  • Select Free for you or Free for your customers

Note: It’ll update for everyone who checks out from then on unless they already started check out (but didn’t finish it), they won’t get the updated pricing.

How to remove iwocaPay from your WooCommerce checkout

You can hide the iwocaPay payment option anytime through your Wordpress dashboard.

  • Head to your WordPress dashboard and then WooCommerce Settings

  • Click the Payments tab and iwocaPay from the list of payment options

  • Untick the Enable/Disable button

iwocaPay will stop showing as an option in your WooCommerce checkout immediately.

You can also permanently delete the iwocaPay plugin from your WooCommerce store.

  • Head to your WordPress dashboard and then click Plugins

  • Under WooCommerce click Deactivate and then Delete

  • Choose Yes, delete these files and data

If you'd like to add iwocaPay back to your checkout again in future you'll need to reinstall it.
